(We are Seven Minutes from U.B.C.)A frequently asked question by our customers: “you take grad photos don’t you?”
“Yes we do.” We photograph thousands of students, not only
do we click a button, but we are professionals at capturing joyful
moments in one’s life.
We have been taking Graduation photographs for many years.
This is a third generation studio, and we have not reinvented
ourselves; our studio has evolved with the times so far as I can tell we
are one of the most technically and mentally advanced studios in
3156 West Broadway Vancouver B.C.
Questions & Answers for Grad SittingsLADIES Q: “What do I wear?” A: “A white or light color blouse with a kind of shirt collar is best. Long sleeves help to shape the body when using the gown. After all grad photos have been taken: ¾ length, full, library etc. We can take some photographs without the gown, of you in a nice dress/evening gown or casual wear, something that you can cherish in your memories of your life as a student.”
Q: “Where to get Dressed?” A: “You may come prepared all dressed up, or you may get dressed in any of our dressing rooms. Please come with all your makeup applied and bring your make up bag for any touchups on any bright spots you might develop when rushing about. Please, come 15 minutes earlier than your stated sitting time.”
GENTLEMEN Q: “What do I wear?” A: “For your grad sitting a white or light color dress shirt with a bright tie is best. Feel comfy in your suit. You may come in with some casual clothing if you wish. Avoid heavy patterns on shirts or other clothing. Dark socks are always good.”
Have your sister, mom, or whoever check for any bright spots on your face, a little makeup after a good face wash can make a big difference, especially in photography. Do not be shy to use make up or asking for help to that purpose.

One of our sales representatives will give you the price for the extra retouching Done Digitally.
Retakes Yes, we do retakes. However, there is a fee involved. Please contact us for details.
Ladies Makeup & Grooming
Please do not use a heavy make up. Light matt makeup, no shiny silver or golden flakes on your face or arms. Very light eyeliner is acceptable. Please, no thick eyelashes. Nice curled eyelashes and matt makeup will ensure better photographs. Touch up the blemishes on your face, if any. Glossy lipstick is a no...no. Please, do not have too long hair bangs have them trimmed evenly, because the grad cap tends to bring the hair down somehow and it hides your eyes. Get your nails done, or trim them to make them more appealing. Bring your bag with all the stuff you need for touch ups. Look as natural as you can. Keep in mind that darker colors tend to minimize body size; light colors produce a contrary effect. Avoid heavy or platform shoes with an evening gown.
Gentlemen’s Personal Care
